Distressed Paint

I have been searching forever about how to make my paint look 'old', and the only i could ever come up with was to sand it after it dried, which works, but it never looked quite right. So when i found this tutorial, using tape, i was so excited to try it! and guess what... IT WORKS! like REALLY well! I used it on three old barn windows Beau got for me and hung them above our TV, (a spot that has been needing some REAL help!)

for some reason it looks really close to the wall color, but its a lot lighter. Anyways, i thought it worked really well and decided to share!
